Kappy oversees all strategy, partnerships and budgets for Rachael Ray's cooking and kids-related philanthropy. Launched in 2006 by Rachael Ray and Kappy, Yum-o!® is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to empower kids and their families to develop healthy relationships with food and cooking by teaching families to cook, feeding hungry kids and funding cooking education and scholarships.

Yum-o!’s three core work areas are:
COOK – Educating kids and their families about food and cooking
FEED – Feeding hungry American kids
FUND – Funding cooking education and scholarships

BEYOND THE PLATE is a podcast that explores the world’s culinary elites’ journey into the food industry and the social impact in their community.
